- Decide on location and what criteria you need; schools, commute time,
shopping, etc.
SELLING A HOME:
- Choose a qualified real estate professional.
- Ask about marketing plan; MLS listing, advertising, signage, etc.
- Pricing your home correctly. Your real estate professional will

determine the asking price. Overpricing will scare off potential buyers
and underpricing will lose you valuable dollars
- Prepare your home to show. The first impression of the buyer is important.
The house should have curb appeal. Nice lawn, flowers, fresh
paint, clean
windows, etc. The inside should be clutter-free so that it will appear
larger,
the home should be clean and neat. Fresh flowers and candles add to
the
homes appearance.
- Consider hiring a handyman to fix any unsightly problems.
- Be prepared to show your home as often as possible.
Your efforts, together with the marketing efforts of a real estate professional,
will lead to buyer interest in your home.
