trails in the 180-acre park and see deer, bear,
bobcats, otters, alligators,and many varieties of
birds. Park serves as a rehabilitation and refuge center
for injured West Indian manatees.

Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Reserve
Protected coastal wetland that provides strictly
regulated boating, diving, and fishing. Habitat for migratory waterfowl
and protection for endangered species such as manatees, sea turtles,
and bald eagles. (accessible only by boat)
